Recently in my portraits I’ve really enjoyed using simple backgrounds. I feel that with a simple background it draws more attention to the subject. For this shot, originally there was no texture to the sky and it felt a little too simple, so I did a sky replacement, just to give the sky some texture, but still keep the overall background simple.
