It wasn't until Auburn's return trip to the NCAA Tournament in 2018 that the Tigers sported the light blue NCAA patch on the jerseys for the first time. While Auburn had made eight tournament appearances prior, the practice of wearing the NCAA patch for the Big Dance didn't begin until the 2008 tournament. The Tigers have since added the patch to seven jerseys (counting the Final Four patch) over the last seven years. Auburn will make their 13th NCAA Tournament appearance on Friday.
