QF Training: Post open 💥💥
We have a distinct opportunity this year and that is the amount of space between the Open and the QF. We will use the following schedule in the 4 weeks before the QF week.
Week 1: Micro Deload
*Given the above description of our open expectations, we will not be taking training lightly during the open. So you will need this mini deload week.
Week 2-4: Quarter Finals training and taper
*Here we will continue our same progression to make sure you are at your absolute best for the QF’s. We will play with some competition simulations as well as some volume progressions. The final week will bleed into the 5th week as a taper so you are feeling fresh and ready to rock.
Week 5: QF week
*This is what you’ve trained for. Leave it all on the floor this weekend and we will enter our off season training after the QF.
