𝘽𝙧𝙮𝙣 𝙑𝙖𝙣𝙋𝙖𝙩𝙩𝙚𝙣 𝘚𝘱𝘰𝘳𝘵𝘴: 𝘔𝘦𝘯’𝘴 𝘉𝘢𝘴𝘬𝘦𝘵𝘣𝘢𝘭𝘭, 𝘌𝘲𝘶𝘦𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘪𝘢𝘯, 𝘔𝘦𝘯’𝘴 𝘛𝘦𝘯𝘯𝘪𝘴 Bryn VanPatten (VP), our fearless leader, is in his fourth year as a Brown Bear. VP comes to us in Providence after a storied career spanning much of New York State and the Ocean State. VP began his athletic training career at Syracuse University graduating with a bachelor’s degree in health and exercise science. He continued his education at SUNY Cortland and NorthCentral University earning his MS in Education and a PhD respectively. His professional career began at Lourdes Sports Medicine and continued at Davis College, Binghamton University and St. Johns University in Queens, NY. He has also graced the sidelines of the MLL team the Long Island Lizards. VP’s first stint in Rhode Island took him to Providence College for 8 years before taking his talents to the classroom serving as an assistant professor and clinical coordinator at Long Island University.
