This Motion Monday post by John kicks off some AAPI appreciation posts. Milton Quon was a Chinese American artist and animator who is best known for his work on the early Disney films "Dumbo" and "Fantasia." Milton also created illustrations for World War 2 airplane repair manuals. After war, Quon worked at the advertising agency, BBD&O until retirement in 1980. Quon received the Golden Spike Award from the Chinese Historical Society of Southern California in 2013 and recently passed away in 2019 at the age of 105. #cvmotionmondays #UMBC #UMBCart #AAPIhistorymonth
