Ever wondered what it would be like to work in the music industry? MDIA alumni Samantha Rainey a Music Production & Recording Industry major with a Geography minor who graduated this past May, has started working at Universal Music Publishing Group (UMPG) & has been working remotely for a little over a month as a Global Data Services Coordinator in Nashville, TN

“UMPG oversees publishing in 47 countries around the world, and it is our job to add copyright & royalty data incoming from performance rights organizations & publishers to our repertoire, as well as researching, reviewing, and checking existing data for accuracy within our system.” ~Samantha Rainey
