Hello Bobcats, As the Spring 2022 semester draws ever so near and you plan which courses you will embark on during your academic journey, consider taking MDIA 4900: International Documentary Studies taught by Prof. Frederick Lewis. In this course a wide variety of documentaries from around the world will be screened. By analyzing their structure and content, as well as their technical and aesthetic attempts, achievements and shortcomings, students completing this course will develop heightened critical viewing skills, a deeper understanding of the documentary production process, and a stronger grasp of issues and conflicts around the world from diverse points of view.
