Today we would like to recognize a new organization in the MDIA school, vantagepoint.ou! Vantage Point is a student-run organization centered around multimedia storytelling by means of video, design, illustration, and text. Their mission is to candidly discuss topics of pop culture, current events, social commentary, and news through the voices of those who are often overlooked and underrepresented. “It is important to the Vantage Point community for our members to reinforce old skills while learning new skills that will be long-lasting to build portfolios and resumes, create networking opportunities, and gain overall experience for the future.” -Cydnee Livingston (President of Vantage Point) Recently the organization members created a video about college sex workers.
