🌟 Meet this week’s student spotlight!🌟 • Collin is a junior Integrated Media major from Chillicothe, Ohio. A notable project he’s worked on is “Burly Man”, the Best Film winner at the 2019 Columbus 48 Hour Shootout. He directed this short film over the summer with five of his friends within 48 hours of finding out what genre the film needed to be. “Burly Man” follows a detective trying to solve the mystery of the murders who ends up getting swept in the story. The film won three awards at the shootout and gave the six students the opportunity to go to Filmapalooza, a film festival held in Netherlands where winners of 48 Shootouts from all over the world compete against each other. Collin also shot and edited the recent national advertisements for Ohio University. “I love Ohio University so I was very happy to film it and convince people to come here,” he said.
