You know pictures that you look at and can almost feel? You can taste the air and hear the bustle in the background? I was looking through Google Photos while the kiddos were asleep (as one does) and scrolled my way back to our Paris 2018 trip. Finnley had just turned one. In this picture, we were at the Eiffel Tower Carousel and I remember thinking that Finnley would definitely not appreciate how amazing this moment was. I also remember thinking how grateful I was that we took the trip even though one is a notoriously difficult age to do long-haul travel with. I’m not sure we’ll ever regret the trip we made with our chaotic, energetic little ones. More likely we’ll regret the trips we said no to out of fear that it would just be too hard. If you’re thinking about booking that trip with your very stubborn toddler, take this as a sign to DO IT!
