For the past year, Finnley has requested one thing for his birthday: a cake that is a train being driven by a raccoon with a snake honking the horn. That’s right. So yesterday, we celebrated his birthday with the theme: ”raccoon-driven train” and a little Paw Patrol thrown in for good measure. It was the sweetest little party. There were hometown favorites abound— from the cake to the cookies to the ballon banner and my mama’s hydrangeas. This little guy has given us the most delightful, busiest four years. He has the funniest imagination (hence raccoon cake), the sweetest little smile and the kindest spirit.
