I did something very scary (for me). It started when I discovered zibbyowens, host of the momsdonthavetimetoreadbooks podcast. She is a lovely soul who’s hosting the “Moms Don’t Have Time To Retreat” in Rhode Island this fall. I usually don’t sign up for things like this. It’s scary for an introvert like myself. It’s scary to venture on a trip where you don’t actually know a soul. But last year, I started writing a book about User Research and if there’s one thing I’m learning about through this experience, it’s that learning from other authors who have been there - while juggling kids in tow - can be so good for the soul.
