Ways that my children have turned into tiny Germans over the past three months: 1. Theodore rejected chicken nuggets (CHICKEN NUGGETS!) in favor of liverwurst. 2. Finnley’s go-to dessert is the Berliner, which he swears IS NOT a donut (even though it absolutely is). 3. He also now calls our cell phone a “handy.” 4. Theodore and Finnley both have embraced the “we play outside no matter what the weather is like” mantra of German kids. 5.
