After earning her master’s in public health degree, Marina plans to work with the homeless community in Los Angeles. She believes that collaborating with community organizers, local government and other stakeholders is the key to eradicating food insecurity and homelessness. Last summer Marina interviewed youth about their experiences at @safeplaceforyouth, a center for homeless and transient youth in Los Angeles.
