Today in
#USOpenCup history (April 11, 1926): Bethlehem Steel thrash Ben Miller FC (St. Louis) 7-2 to win a 5th National Challenge Cup title, a record that still stands today. 18,000 fans attended the game at Ebbets Field in
#Brooklyn (which was a record for a championship game at the time - and still ranks in the Top 20 of all US Open Cup games all-time). National SoccerHOF inductee Archie Stark scored a hat trick for the Steelmen to help them lift the trophy for the fifth, and what would be the final time.
