After winning road games vs. Kitsap Pumas (a rare pro team in the #PDL) and the Wilmington Hammerheads (#USL Pro), CalFootballClub, led by head coach EricWynalda, was given another road game, this time against Portland #Timbers of MLS. #PTFC registered 37 shots & Cal FC managed to hold off them off, with Derby Carrillo making 15 saves over 120 mins. Cal FC received a gift in the 80th min. because Kris Boyd, the Scottish Premier League's (#SPFL) all-time leading scorer, skied a PK over the bar. In the 95th min. Danny Barrera assisted Artur Aghasyan on the game-winning goal, making Cal FC the 1st Open Division Local (#USASA) team to not only score a goal vs. an #MLS team, but the 1st t...
