This week The Queen will spend time in residence in Scotland at Holyroodhouse Palace in Edinburgh. Her Majesty will meet Scots from all walks of life and host thousands at the Palace of Holyroodhouse in recognition of their good work. Known in Scotland as Royal Week and to others as Holyrood Week, these visits celebrate Scottish culture & community. Holyrood Week starts with the traditional "Ceremony of the Keys" where The Queen is welcomed to Edinburgh. #holyroodweek #royalweek
