Today royal_collection_trust has announced plans for a new public garden at the Palace of Holyroodhouse, inspired by the earliest recorded gardens at the Palace. A new physic garden will reimagine the 17th-century garden where students learned about the medicinal properties of plants, where this nearby flowering meadow will evoke the 15th century garden cared for by the monks of Holyrood Abbey. #edinburgh #holyroodpalace #holyroodabbey
