USC students won first place this past weekend at the annual hackpoly event, where teams spent 24 hours hacking, coding, and creating a project. The USC/UCLA team “Memory Palace AR” came in first place for their app, which looks to “to exercise one’s memories to prevent further memory loss,” according to the team. The app asks “users to save and restore their favorite memories which can be accessed anytime and anywhere." This win could not come at a better time as this week USC is celebrating International Student Appreciation Week, and the team was comprised entirely of international students.
