So the curtain was drawn on our season for the final time last night. This group of boys defied expectations and nobody could imagine that we would get this far on the back of a difficult 2018 season. A massive thanks from all the bobcat boys is due to Luca Falconieri, Josh Tenney and Buhle Dlamini for leading this group of mostly freshmen and sophomores throughout the season and always ensuring we continued to look ahead without letting our heads drop when things weren’t going our way. Congratulations to these 3 on fantastic Bobcat soccer careers that involved a MEC conference tournament victory in 2017 alongside numerous individual honours over the last 4 years. The fact the boys are frustrated and disappointed to get knocked out at the semi final stage after a poor record last season shows what an ambitious and determined group we have at Wesleyan that will be a force to come in the coming years.
