MEET (Alyssa) RAO! A junior from the suburbs of Chicago, Rao has been dancing for a whopping 2 years. Before beginning her illustrious dance career at BC, she spent 15 years as a competitive gymnast. Her favorite style of dance is contemporary, but she cannot wait to try more jazz this year. Outside of DOBC, Rao loves volunteering, sarcasm, and spending time with her dance friends. She cannot wait to come back to BC and hug every member of DOBC until they ask her to let go. #meetDOBC
