Day 3 of the George Floyd protests. The city of Omaha and Lincoln both declared a curfew between the times of 8pm to 6am. Before the curfew though, Omaha saw more peaceful protests in the downtown area, on 72nd, and at the Malcolm X memorial site. Many protestors wanted it to be known that they intended on keeping these gathering's peaceful. Some of the OPD officers joined in either by kneeling with the crowd or participating in a moment of silence.
