"Diversity is not only to be celebrated or touted when convenient. Organizations succeed more if they can effectively unlock their diversity to create environments of collective learning, especially in difficult moments. I really appreciated that the Bridgers of Color Employee Resource Group held an impromptu Town Hall in light of the anti-Asian attacks in Atlanta and similar incidents worldwide. The format was less planned and allowed for colleagues to share vulnerably and meaningfully, and empower each other with tools, language, and action.
