Samuel (“Sam”) played on his high school’s varsity football team as the starting Center. As the season progressed, Sam’s mom, Angela, noticed he had some unusual bruising, bleeding, and fatigue so she took him to the doctor. The lab results showed abnormalities and 3 weeks later, he was diagnosed with B Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia.
