Saqora Skenandore was diagnosed on December 27, 2019 through the emergency department at age 13. She had been going to the doctor for months, always tired and having thyroid issues. When she developed severe pain in her abdomen, her parents took her to the emergency department, only to find she had B Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia PH High Risk. Saqora is an amazing young woman who fights daily to beat cancer, despite having severe nausea and many adverse side effects from her chemotherapy treatments.
