On April 22, 2021 Emily was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. This news shocked her and her family along the many communities in which she is actively involved. Emily is now 7 months into a 2.5-year journey. She and her family have traveled over 15,000 miles to and from the hospital for her treatments.
