finally able to put some thoughts together on the chicagosteel season without getting (too) emotional: 1. This was a great chance to explore working in sports more; in a not fan-facing position and in a whole new sport. 2. Hockey has always been my number two, and getting to work for the Steel was an awesome experience in a field I knew almost nothing about. So it was a hands-on learning experience from the get-go. I’m super thankful to have had our Productions Crew and team President to help show me the ropes. 3. This season was chock-full of insane highlights, from Wolfe’s OT Hattie to Mastro’s between-the-legs goal (that made it to ESPN !); the games have never been short of incredible and exciting. 4. Getting to work behind-the-scenes and running show control was nothing short of amazing. Our productions crew (including the wonderfully charismatic markcitron ) was awesome in helping me adjust and learn. 5. Making it all the way to the Clark Cup FINAL was insane. Making it to the fi...
