CCT took part in the sixth annual National Summit on Mass Incarceration at University City United Methodist Church last month.
Current and former CCT Center for Women residents spoke during the event sharing some of the challenges they face because of their past, from trying to find affordable housing to the search for employment. The summit focused on ways local leaders can recommit to bring systemic change and lasting reform for those impacted by incarceration.
Our Executive Director, Patrice Funderburg, and our Clinical Social Worker, Joanna Patcha, moderated the sessions.
