We often have residents who create artwork for staff as an appreciation for what we do for them. A young lady did a piece for me. The mask represents the walls that have come down because of her time at CCT. On one half is a dying tree, and the other half a living tree. Above is the flag of recovery from addiction. The bottom are her walls that appear to be very low on the spectrum acknowledging that she has let them down quite a bit since arriving at CCT. We have seen such positive growth in this young lady since her arrival. She has been doing the work and seeking behavioral health counseling.
