Telling a story one bowl at a time. Local artist Dana Endley and Dawn Anthony from Blumenthal Performing Arts Center teamed up to help our residents create these beautiful story bowls. Here’s how it works: Residents wrote their stories on tissue paper and tore it into pieces. The pieces were then glued onto a bowl. The secret? Dana and Dawn taught the ladies to write in a way no one would understand. ⬅️ So if you look closely at the colorful art, you can see the handwriting but not read it. Only the actual creator knows what story their bowl holds. Some even added things such as birds and butterflies to their decorative pieces.
