From the Tarheels of UNC 👣 to the the Tivoli Gardens ⛲️ of Denmark 🇩🇰 and then from Auburn, Alabama 🐅 to Aulnay, France 🇫🇷…and beyond 💫 This player’s journey has included: 4️⃣ continents 5️⃣ residency athletes 6️⃣ seasons in France 1️⃣1️⃣ 🇺🇸 jersey # 1️⃣3️⃣ years of playing 🤾‍♀️ 🟰our team captain, Julia Taylor‼️ From first playing a gym class version of the sport with dodgeballs ☄️, Julia Taylor’s handball journey grew to competing in college at UNC 👣 , growing her skills in Denmark 🇩🇰, to be accepted as one of the original five USATH women handball athletes in the residency program at Auburn University 🐅. Whew! And just when you’d thought she’d reached her pinnacle as an American handball player, she pursued and earned a professional contract to play in Aulnay, France 🇫🇷 just outside of Paris🗼.
