Former DePaul Softball coach Eugene Lenti is accused of punching a female assistant coach and verbally abusing his players, according to a lawsuit filed Thursday and reported by apnews. DePaul is also being accused of violating Title IX guidelines by firing the whistleblower who complained. Eugene Lenti is the brother of DePaul’s current Athletics Director Jean Lenti-Ponsetto. Coach Lenti left DePaul in 2018 after 37 years.
