Since I could remember Bruce Lee was my hero. I remember copying his moves in my bedroom watching him on tv, trying to talk like him move like him be him. More importantly, he brought hope that an Asian face can be center stage, can be in the foreground, can influence culture. He was more than a martial artist, he was a philosopher, a seeker of knowledge that pioneered a path for Asians all around the world that we can also have a voice and be counted in, be represented.
