Walking down memory lane when I read this article. Wow time really does fly. And when time flies so does music trends and cultures and all that in between. It almost seems like a day dream or an alternate reality but alas it’s my roots and it’s made me who I am today. Most of you probably don’t know my past. Many of you equate me from current EDM, Neon Future, the big festival shows on YouTube, the AokiJumps, cakes, Dim Mak current sounds and culture and everything that’s blitzed on social media and that’s ok! Especially cuz that’s what my dialogue is now, but wow this article does breathe some life, a few hundred words on the indie era of my label Dim Mak before we signed and put out djs, right when I started djing opening up in night clubs in LA literally opening up the doors as people trickled into the darkly lit rooms where knowing where the dj was spinning was the least important thing you’d care about.
