Cead mile failte! ☘️ I’m still on such a high from my recent trip to Ireland to co-host the Dublin St. Patrick’s Day Parade - with an estimated 650,000 people attending the parade, the energy was ELECTRIC! The theme of this year’s parade, “Spréach” which means SPARK in the Irish language, represented the spark of the Irish people’s energy and creativity - and boy, could we feel that spréach! Happening throughout the entire weekend was also the stpatricksfestival at Collins Barracks where music, dancing, food, drink, and even learning some Irish was all part of the fun! I was THRILLED to be reunited with my friend jamie-flann who gave me a fun lesson in learning some Irish, as part of the Creidim Ionat (“I Believe In You”) Irish language initiative by forasnagaeilge, the public body that promotes the Irish language across the island of Ireland.
