At Wednesday’s meeting, the UC Board of Regents once again postponed its vote to May on a controversial policy that would limit political speech on university websites. Regent Jay Sures helped develop the policy proposal that was introduced at the January regents meetings, but the vote was pushed to March due to concerns about faculty free speech. Regents President Michael Drake, along with several other board members, expressed concerns regarding the status of the policy and whether or not it was ready for a proper vote.
