There’s always a light at the end of the tunnel. Sometimes the tunnel is just a bit longer. This job isn’t without its challenges. Sometimes the challenge is the client. Other times it’s the vendor. Sometimes it’s both. I often feel like a therapist or mediator instead of a planner. Other times I think I’m the one who is going to need a therapist just to get through it 🤪 In the end, it’s always beautiful, but I’d be lying if I said it’s always worth it. Because truthfully? Sometimes I look back and think to myself “yup, I totally could have done without that struggle.” But here’s the thing- I’m that much stronger, smarter, and experienced now because of it. And, after 14 years in this biz, there’s not much I can’t handle. It’s simply a matter of choosing what I WANT to handle. This is a two-way street, and I get to choose which clients and vendors I want to work with just as much as they choose me.
