I was at the lowest point of my life and was unable to focus on football or pretty much everything. If not for my teammates and coaches who never stopped encouraging and believing in me, I wouldn’t have played the best football of my career so far. I guess sometimes the harder we fall, the stronger we rise. With their support, I managed to bounce back stronger and wiser, netting eight goals and recording 11 assists that year. That got me the Player of the Month award in August and a chance to don the national jersey in 2016. I can never thank them enough.
