This May, WPI Athletics is celebrating Asian Pacific American Heritage Month by asking each of our coaches to pick a legendary or favorite Asian American in their sport. Next up is a pair of Hawaiian wrestlers who are phenomenal athletes and even better human beings. Clarissa Chun is one of the first female state champion wrestlers in the entire country. She is a former World Champion and Olympic bronze medalist, and is currently the top assistant coach for the USA Wrestling national team. Travis Lee was a three-time state champion and a four-time EIWA champion, the first in Cornell History. Lee won the Division 1 National Champion twice and was an All-American four straight years.
