This May, WPI Athletics is celebrating Asian Pacific American Heritage Month by asking each of our coaches to pick a legendary or favorite Asian American in their sport. Next up is Nobuhisa Ishizuka, the Chairman of the Board for USRowing. Ishizuka has been rowing since 1978 and has been a member of USRowing for over 25 years. As a member of rowing clubs in Hong Kong and Tokyo, he helped promote the sport internationally, organizing regattas from Australia, to the US and Europe.
