This May, wpi Athletics is celebrating Asian Pacific American Heritage Month by asking each of our coaches to pick a legendary or favorite Asian American in their sport. Next up is Ali Riley, an American-born New Zealand professional soccer player. Ali plays as a defender for the orlpride in the nwsl, and captains the New Zealand women’s soccer team. As a collegiate athlete, she was a member of stanfordwsoc team who went to two ncaa semifinals and one final.
