After my recent, week-long trip to Belize with @travelbelize in September, I learned a lot about this Central American country. Here are eight facts you might not know about Belize: 1. More than half of Belize is covered in subtropical jungle and rainforest and is a great place for birding, wildlife photography, and outdoor activities like hiking and ziplining. 3. The food in Belize is amazing! From delicious fresh seafood on the coast to Maya cuisine found inland that goes back centuries, Belize is a great place for foodies. 4.
