Thank you to everyone who commented and shared my post from earlier in the week. I REALLY appreciate the support... which makes me want to bring up something else. I've been at a crossroads this year with my work because I feel like the genuine essence of weddings and relationships have taken a back seat to "what looks good in my feed" or "what's trending on social media". I think that a lot of my peers would never say that aloud, but it's true. There is so much pressure in this industry to curate content to make everything appear perfect when often times that creates an unrealistic set of expectations for couples. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I'll be candid and tell you that I've been struggling with whether to stay true to what I believe will speak to my clients in 20 years (smiles, laughs, tears, etc) or to give in to trends.
