This post is important to me. I don't care if it fits in my feed, gets lots of likes or gets lost in the shuffle. Photographing this moment made me cry. Not little tears, big heavy ones. In fact, I'm fighting back tears just writing this. One month before his wedding this groom lost his Mom after her long battle with cancer. I never got the chance to meet her, but I wish that I would've. You could tell the amazing kind of woman she was by how everyone talked about her. Her unrelenting positive attitude towards life, her grace and her love for her family that knew no bounds. Knowing that she probably wouldn't make it to the wedding day she wanted to make sure her son knew she was smiling down, sharing in his big day from high above. She had some cufflinks made (swipe right) with a handwritten note for her son. They simply said "Happy wedding day, Jared" and "with deepest love as you become a groom". Tears flowed, long hard hugs were given and a moment was captured that will forever live...
