That’s why we’re introducing our unofficial best Hong Kong beach awards: over the next two weeks we’ll be revealing the very best beach spots in the territory. The first accolade for the most secluded HK beach goes to Ham Tin, part of Tai Long Wan, a collection of four beaches along the east coast of Sai Kung. Accessible only by speedboat from Sai Kung Pier or by hiking down to it, the white-sand beach is popular with sunbathers – and with campers. Just remember to bring your tent! Do you agree?
