The A. Lange & Söhne Zeitwerk was introduced as an homage to the Dresden Semper Opera House 'digital clock.' This is the 'Striking Time' Zeitwerk, which features a chiming mechanism that activates once every 15 minutes—acting as a ‘quarter-striker’ that strikes the right-hand hammer—and an 'hour-striker' that strikes the gong on the left-hand hammer at the start of each new hour. Our example is cased in white gold and features an elegant black dial.
