From military issue to royal commissions to corporate orders, Rolex collectors have always been captivated by the atelier’s special-order wristwatches. In 2015, the United States Secret Service Employee Recreation Association (ERA) marked the 150th anniversary of the United States Secret Service (USSS) with the sale of personalized memorabilia including 15 laser engraved Rolex wristwatches commissioned through Tourneau New York. This example in our Fine Watches sale is a later special edition out of 50 total pieces, delivered to the previous owner, a USSS alumnae, in the Fall of 2020. Accompanying the watch is a Tourneau appraisal, confirming this special order directly from the retailer’s Corporate Sales Division.
