The Ruthenium Collection, introduced in 2001 and completed in 2004, marked F.P. Journe’s inaugural venture into limited editions. With five distinct models distinguished by their ruthenium-coated gold dials and brass movements, each was produced in a numbered series of 99 pieces, creating a fresh and exclusive experience for collectors. Journe started work on a Résonance movement as early as 1983, and it took over 15 years to finally bring the world’s first Résonance wristwatch to market.
