Never before seen at auction and confirmed to be the last Daytona Newman ever wore, the white gold reference 116519 is inscribed “Drive Very Slowly Joanne” and was a gift from his loving wife Joanne Woodward.
Presented to Newman in 1995 after he won his GT1 class at the Daytona24 at the age of 70—a world record that still stands to this day for the oldest man to win, the 'Zenith' Daytona watch is inscribed on the back ‘Paul Newman, Rolex Motorsport Man of the Year.’
Both watches come directly from the Newman family as part of The World of Joanne Woodward and Paul Newman collection at Sotheby's and are two to watch during the live auction, streaming on
