Here we are looking at an award winning watch by Swiss independent manufacturer Romain Gauthier r.gauthier – the Logical One, Reference MON00120. Featuring a modern interpretation of fusée and chain mechanism used to equalise the waning force of the mainspring, the design keeps the watch to run at an exact rate. The reference is wound via the caseband pusher at 9 o’clock, which is the only watch using a pusher to operate winding rather than crown. With only 20 pieces produced from 2013 to 2017, this is surely an exceptional piece that is hard to come by.
